Sonographer – Full-Time (On-Site)

Hourly Rate: $50–$60/hour
Contract: 6 or 12 months, potential for permanent

Role Overview

Prosperity Workforce Solutions is supporting recruitment for a full-time, on-site Sonographer to provide high-quality diagnostic ultrasound services in a growing imaging clinic. This role offers the opportunity to work with modern equipment in a patient-focused environment that prioritizes accuracy, safety, and timely reporting.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic ultrasound examinations with accuracy and high image quality

• Prepare and educate patients on procedures

• Operate and maintain ultrasound equipment and related software

• Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals

• Ensure patient safety, comfort, and privacy throughout the procedure

• Maintain detailed and accurate documentation

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Diagnostic Medical Sonography program (or equivalent)

• Registered with Sonography Canada (ARDMS considered an asset)

• Minimum 1 year of clinical experience

• Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and ultrasound procedures

• Ability to work independently and in a fast-paced team environment

• Excellent communication and patient care skills

• Legally eligible to work in Canada
